Sunday September 5, 2010Off sailing
Hi everyone,
Wow, doesn’t time fly?!? It has been more then three months since we moved to our new office behind RD1 in Waipapa. The new office is working out great and I have to be honest, it is nice to go home at the end of the day, pick up Maya from kindy and ‘leave the work in the office’.
We have been really busy and worked some long days. So busy in fact that we have taken on an extra staff member to help cope with the work load.
Welcome aboard Christy Lacroix
Christy has recently arrived from Belgium with husband Bart and their two boys, Bram (11) and Rob (9).
With her strong background in graphic design and experience in print studios she has already proven to be a very valuable addition to our team in the relatively short time she has been with us.
We are very confident that you will enjoy working with Christy as much as we do. She’s a bubbly person who can take a joke and enjoys a good laugh yet serious, dedicated and professional in her work.
Sailing the seven seas
Well, not all seven but Rob will be off for a three month sailing trip that will take him from Malaysia via Sri Lanka, the Maldives, Oman, the Red Sea and the Suez Canal to the Mediterranean. Weather (and pirates) permitting he expects to end his trip somewhere in Turkey from where he will fly back late March and resume work after Easter.
New phone number (again)
The trial with the Vodafone home box wasn’t as successful as we had hoped. The system may be perfectly fine for home use but we found it a little bit unreliable at times and the line quality left a lot to be desired. We also received some feedback from people thinking we were Auckland based. No disrespect, but to be called a jaffa really made us reconsider so to avoid any confusion our new number is 09 401 6005.
To spam or not to spam
As promised we will be sending out a regular “Design Brief” like this one to our client base, to keep you informed of what is happening and what we are working on. It has been pointed out that this could be considered ‘spam’. If you feel this is the case please let us know and we will of course remove you from our mailing list.
Stocking filler
Each time we feature some of the work that we have recently completed for our clients and this time we invite you to visit designer Karin Lindholm’s new website www.changepod.co.nz.
Christmas is very close now and if you need a stocking filler for young parents or parents to be we highly recommend this new and innovative product made right here in New Zealand.
Hitting the beach
We will be taking a break from 24 December until 11 January to enjoy what we love most about this beautiful country. Thank you all for your business this past year, it has been great!
We wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Healthy and prosperous 2010 and look forward to working with you again in the New Year.
